Sophie Okonedo, OBE (* 1968), ist eine britische Schauspielerin und Sängerin, die in erfolgreichen britischen und amerikanischen Produktionen mitgewirkt hat. 1991 gab sie ihr Schauspieldebüt in dem von der Kritik gefeierten britischen Coming-of-Age-Drama „Young Soul Rebels“. 2004 erntete sie große Anerkennung für ihre Rolle als Tatiana Rusesabagina, die Ehefrau des ruandischen Hotelmanagers Paul Rusesabagina, in dem Völkermorddrama „Hotel Ruanda“ (2004). Für diese Darstellung wurde sie für den Oscar als Beste Nebendarstellerin nominiert.
