Biografie:

Stuart Alan Gordon war ein US-amerikanischer Filmemacher, Theaterregisseur, Drehbuchautor und Dramatiker. Der Großteil seines filmischen Schaffens fiel in das Horrorgenre, obwohl er sich auch an Science-Fiction und Film Noir wagte. Wie sein Freund und Kollege Brian Yuzna war Gordon ein Fan von H. P. Lovecraft und adaptierte mehrere Geschichten des Autors für die Leinwand. Gordon veröffentlichte mehrere Bücher, darunter „The Eyes Trilogy“, „Watchers“ und zahlreiche Enzyklopädien, unter anderem „The Paranormal: An Illustrated Encyclopedia“ und „The Encyclopedia of Myths and Legends“. Mehrere seiner Filme wurden zu Kultklassikern.
