Damon Laurence Lindelof ist ein US-amerikanischer Drehbuchautor, Comicautor und Produzent. 2010 zählte ihn das Time Magazine zu den 100 einflussreichsten Menschen der Welt. Lindelof ist vor allem als Schöpfer und Showrunner zahlreicher von der Kritik gefeierter Fernsehserien bekannt, darunter die Science-Fiction-Serie Lost (2004–2010) von ABC, die Mystery-Serie The Leftovers (2014–2017) von HBO, die Superhelden-Miniserie Watchmen (2019) von HBO und die Science-Fiction-Miniserie Mrs. Davis (2023) von Peacock. Lindelof war außerdem als Autor an den Krimiserien Nash Bridges (2000–2001) von CBS und Crossing Jordan (2001–2004) von NBC beteiligt. Er war Co-Autor der Filme Cowboys & Aliens (2011), Prometheus (2012), Star Trek Into Darkness (2013), World War Z (2013) und Tomorrowland (2015).
