John Rollin Lupton (23. August 1928 – 3. November 1993) war ein US-amerikanischer Film- und Fernsehschauspieler. Nach seinem Abschluss an der American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York erhielt Lupton sofort Engagements am Theater. Anschließend wurde er von MGM in Hollywood unter Vertrag genommen. Lupton war schlaksig und gutaussehend wie James Stewart oder Henry Fonda, erreichte aber nie deren Bekanntheitsgrad. In der Fernsehsaison 1954/55 war Lupton in mehreren Folgen der CBS-Sitcom „The Halls of Ivy“ als Student zu sehen. 1957 erhielt er eine Rolle in der ABC-Westernserie „Broken Arrow“, die zwei Staffeln lang lief. Im Kino ist er vor allem für seine Rolle als „Sister Mary“ in „Battle Cry“ und „Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter“ bekannt. 1956 spielte Lupton außerdem an der Seite von Fess Parker in Disneys „The Great Locomotive Chase“. Er hatte Gastauftritte in mehreren Fernsehserien, darunter in ABCs Krimidrama Target: The Corruptors! aus den Jahren 1961-1962 mit Stephen McNally und in NBCs Daniel Boone.
