Joseph Anthony "Joe" Mantegna, Jr. (geb. 13. November 1947) ist ein amerikanischer Schauspieler, Produzent, Autor und Regisseur. Er ist vor allem für seine Rollen in Kinohits wie Three Amigos (1986), The Godfather Part III (1990), Forget Paris (1995) und Up Close & Personal (1996) bekannt. Derzeit spielt er in der CBS-Fernsehserie Criminal Minds als FBI-Spezialagent David Rossi. Mantegna hat für seine Rollen in drei verschiedenen Miniserien, The Last Don (1997), The Rat Pack (1999) und The Starter Wife (2007), Emmy Award Nominierungen erhalten. Mantegna war Executive Producer für verschiedene Film- und Fernsehfilme wie Corduroy (1984), Hoods (1998) und Lakeboat (2000), die er auch leitete. Im Fernsehen spielte Mantegna in der kurzlebigen Serie First Monday (2002) und Joan of Arcadia (2003-2005). Seit der Episode "Bart der Mörder" von 1991 spielt Mantegna eine immer wiederkehrende Rolle in der Zeichentrickserie The Simpsons als Mafiaboss Fat Tony und übernimmt die Rolle in The Simpsons Movie (2007). Zwischen 1999 und 2001 spielte er auch Robert B. Parkers fiktiven Detektiv Spenser in drei Fernsehfilmen.
