Gerry Fisher, B.S.C. (23. Juni 1926 – 2. Dezember 2014) war ein englischer Kameramann. Er wurde 1926 in London geboren. Nach ersten Anstellungen bei Kodak und De Havilland Aircraft leistete er während des Zweiten Weltkriegs seinen Dienst in der Royal Navy. Anschließend arbeitete Fisher als Klappenjunge bei den Alliance Riverside Studios in Twickenham und als Kameraassistent bei Dokumentarfilmen für Wessex Films, bevor er Schärfezieher bei den Shepperton Studios wurde. Nach Jahren in dieser Funktion bei Filmen wie „An Inspector Calls“ (1954) wurde er zum Kameramann bei „Die Brücke am Kwai“ (1957) befördert, bevor er schließlich bei Joseph Loseys „Accident“ (1967) die Kameraführung übernahm. Er arbeitete mit Losey an sieben weiteren Filmen zusammen, darunter „Der Mittler“ (1971). 1976 wurde Fisher für seine Kameraarbeit in „Aces High“ von der British Society of Cinematographers für den Preis für die Beste Kamera nominiert und erhielt 1977 für denselben Film eine BAFTA-Nominierung. Ebenfalls 1977 wurde er für seine Kameraarbeit in „Monsieur Klein“ für den César in der Kategorie „Beste Kamera“ nominiert. Zu den Regisseuren, mit denen Fisher häufig zusammenarbeitete, zählten Losey, Tony Richardson, Sidney Lumet, John Huston, William Peter Blatty, John Frankenheimer und zuletzt Michael Ritchie. Fisher und seine Frau verbrachten ihren Ruhestand im Pflegeheim Glebelands der Film and Television Charity in Wokingham, Berkshire. Er starb am 2. Dezember 2014 im Royal Berkshire Hospital im nahegelegenen Reading im Alter von 88 Jahren.
