Melvin Richard „Dakin“ Matthews (* 7. November 1940) ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler, Dramatiker, Theaterregisseur und Theaterwissenschaftler. Bekannt wurde er vor allem durch seine Rollen als Herb Kelcher in „My Two Dads“ (1987–1989), Hamlin Charleston in „Gilmore Girls“ (2000–2007) und Reverend Sikes in „Desperate Housewives“ (2004–2012).
