Jane Marie Lynch (* 14. Juli 1960) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin, Komikerin und Autorin. Lynch ist vor allem bekannt für ihre Rolle als Sue Sylvester in der Musical-Comedy-Serie Glee (2009–2015) auf Fox, für die sie mit einem Primetime Emmy Award ausgezeichnet wurde. Außerdem erlangte sie Anerkennung durch ihre Rollen in den Mockumentary-Filmen von Christopher Guest, wie Best in Show (2000), A Mighty Wind (2003) und For Your Consideration (2006). Lynch hatte eine wiederkehrende Rolle in der CBS-Sitcom Two and a Half Men (2004–2014), für die sie für einen Primetime Emmy Award nominiert wurde, sowie wiederkehrende Rollen in der Showtime-Drama-Serie The L Word (2005–2009), der CBS-Krimiserie Criminal Minds (2006–2020), der CBS All Access-Drama-Serie The Good Fight (2017–heute) und der Amazon Prime Video-Comedy-Serie The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017–heute), für die sie ebenfalls einen Primetime Emmy Award erhielt. Im Jahr 2013 erhielt Lynch den 2.505.
