Catherine Jane Ford (* 5. Dezember 1969), bekannt unter ihrem Künstlernamen Catherine Tate, ist eine englische Schauspielerin, Komikerin und Autorin. Sie wurde für ihre Arbeit an der BBC-Sketch-Comedy-Serie „The Catherine Tate Show“ (2004–2007) vielfach ausgezeichnet und war unter anderem für einen International Emmy Award und sieben BAFTAs nominiert. Tate spielte Donna Noble im Weihnachtsspecial von „Doctor Who“ im Jahr 2006 und verkörperte diese Rolle später erneut in der vierten Staffel im Jahr 2008 sowie in den Jubiläumsfolgen zum 60-jährigen Bestehen im Jahr 2023.
