Teddy Newton ist Künstler bei den Pixar Animation Studios. Er arbeitete als Storyboard-Zeichner für „2 Stupid Dogs“, „Der Gigant aus dem All“ und „Dexters Labor“. Er studierte am California Institute of the Arts im renommierten Studiengang Character Animation. Bei Pixar war er außerdem Co-Autor des Kurzfilms „Jack-Jack Attack“ und lieh seine Stimme dem Wochenschau-Sprecher in „Die Unglaublichen“, Skinners Anwalt in „Ratatouille“, den Steward-Robotern in „Wall-E“, einem Werbefachmann in „Oben“ und dem Chatter Telephone in „Toy Story 3“. Mit dem Pixar-Kurzfilm „Day & Night“ gab er sein Regiedebüt.
