Matthew Jay Roach ist ein US-amerikanischer Filmemacher. Bekannt wurde er vor allem durch die Regie der Austin-Powers-Filmreihe, „Meine Braut, ihr Vater und ich“, „Dinner für Spinner“, „The Campaign“, „Trumbo“ und „Bombshell“ sowie durch die Produktion von Filmen wie „Borat“ und „Meine Braut, ihr Vater und ich“. Roach erntete zudem Kritikerlob für die Regie und Produktion der politischen Fernsehfilme „Recount“, „Game Change“ und „All the Way“. Er produzierte die Filme unter seinem Label Everyman Pictures.
