Vanessa Anne Hudgens (geb. 14. Dezember 1988) ist eine amerikanische Schauspielerin und Sängerin, die vor allem für ihre Darstellung der Figur Gabriella Montez in der High School Musical-Serie bekannt ist. Sie erhielt auch Anerkennung von der Kritik für ihre Rolle im Film Bandslam 2009. Als Schauspielerin war Hudgens in mehreren Fernsehsendungen zu sehen, darunter Quintuplets, Still Standing, The Brothers García, Drake & Josh und The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. Ihr Leinwanddebüt gab sie 2003 im Drama-Film Dreizehn als Noel. Ihre erste Hauptrolle im Science-Fiction-Abenteuerfilm Thunderbirds 2004 bekam sie als Tintin. Hudgens' Debütalbum V wurde am 26. September 2006 veröffentlicht. Das Album kam mit der Nummer 24 auf das Billboard 200 und wurde später mit Gold ausgezeichnet. Hudgens veröffentlichte ihr zweites Album, Identified, am 1. Juli 2008 in den USA. Hudgens' Ruhm ist auch durch einen Skandal gekennzeichnet, der durch die Veröffentlichung privater, selbst aufgenommener Aktfotos von ihr im Internet ohne ihre Erlaubnis bei mehreren Gelegenheiten verursacht wurde. Seit einer dritten und anonymen Freigabe dieser Bilder untersucht das FBI nun diese durchgesickerten Fotos, um die Quelle im Zusammenhang mit ähnlichen Untersuchungen zu solchen Hackings bei insgesamt etwa 50 Hollywood-Prominenten zu finden.
