Ashley Michelle Tisdale (* 2. Juli 1985) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin und Sängerin, die als Maddie Fitzpatrick in der Disney Channel-Serie "Hotel Zack & Cody" und als weibliche Gegenspielerin Sharpay Evans in der High School Musical-Filmreihe bekannt wurde. Die High School Musical-Serie wurde zu einem erfolgreichen Franchise, das zwei Fernsehfilme, einen Kinofilm, ein Spin-Off und zahlreiche Soundtrack-Alben umfasste. Die durch High School Musical erlangte Popularität führte dazu, dass Tisdale 2006 einen Solo-Plattenvertrag mit Warner Bros. Records erhielt. Ihr Debütalbum Headstrong wurde im Februar 2007 veröffentlicht und debütierte auf Platz fünf der US-Charts. Es verkaufte sich allein in der ersten Woche rund 64.000 Mal und wurde später von der Recording Industry Association of America mit Gold ausgezeichnet. Ihr zweites Studioalbum, Guilty Pleasure, wurde 2009 veröffentlicht. Tisdale besitzt eine eigene Produktionsfirma und hat als ausführende Produzentin an Filmen gearbeitet, darunter der ABC Family Fernsehfilm "Picture This".
