Eartha Mae Kitt (17. Januar 1927 – 25. Dezember 2008) war eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin, Sängerin und Kabarettistin. Bekannt wurde sie vor allem durch ihren unverwechselbaren Gesangsstil und ihren Weihnachtshit „Santa Baby“ aus dem Jahr 1953. Orson Welles bezeichnete sie einst als die „aufregendste Frau der Welt“. In der dritten Staffel der Batman-Fernsehserie der 1960er-Jahre übernahm sie die Rolle der Catwoman von Julie Newmar, die für die letzte Staffel nicht zur Verfügung stand. Außerdem war sie die Stimme von Yzma in Disneys „Ein Königreich für ein Lama“ sowie dessen Fortsetzung und Fernsehserie.
