Emily Jane Browning (geboren am 7. Dezember 1988) ist eine australische Schauspielerin und Sängerin. Browning debütierte im australischen Fernsehfilm The Echo of Thunder; danach spielte sie wiederkehrende Rollen in den australischen Fernsehsendungen Blue Heelers und Something in the Air. Ihr Durchbruch gelang ihr 2002 im Horrorfilm Ghost Ship, der sie einem breiteren Publikum vorstellte. 2005 gewann Browning den Australian Film Institute International Award for Best Actress für ihre Darstellung von Violet Baudelaire im Film Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004). Browning ist auch bekannt für ihre Rollen in dem Horrorfilm The Uninvited (2009), dem Actionfilm Sucker Punch (2011) und dem unabhängigen Drama Sleeping Beauty (2011).
