Philip Michael Thomas ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler und Musiker im Ruhestand, der vor allem durch seine Rolle als Detective Ricardo Tubbs in der erfolgreichen Fernsehserie „Miami Vice“ aus den 1980er-Jahren bekannt wurde. Seine ersten nennenswerten Rollen hatte er in „Coonskin“ (1975) und an der Seite von Irene Cara in dem Film „Sparkle“ (1976). Nach seinem Erfolg mit „Miami Vice“ wirkte er in zahlreichen Fernsehfilmen und Werbespots für telefonische Wahrsagerdienste mit. Außerdem lieh er der Figur Lance Vance in den Videospielen „Grand Theft Auto: Vice City“ (2002) und „Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories“ (2006) seine Stimme.
