Gary Sweet (* 22. Mai 1957 in Melbourne) ist ein australischer Film- und Fernsehschauspieler, bekannt für seine Rollen in „Alexandra's Project“ (2003), „Polizeirettung“, „Cody“, „Big Sky“, „The Battlers“, „Bodyline“ und „Stingers“. Er wuchs in Warradale, Südaustralien, auf und besuchte die Brighton High School in Adelaide. Später absolvierte er ein Lehramtsstudium und begann während seines Studiums am Sturt Teachers' College mit dem Schauspiel. Seine erste Rolle hatte er in dem Low-Budget-Horrorfilm „Nightmares“. Anfang der 1980er-Jahre erlangte Sweet durch die Rolle des Leslie „Magpie“ Maddern in der Fernsehserie „The Sullivans“ der Crawfords größere Bekanntheit.
