James Milton Kelly war ein US-amerikanischer Sportler, Kampfsportler und Schauspieler. Nachdem er mehrere Karate-Meisterschaften gewonnen hatte, erlangte er Anfang der 1970er Jahre durch seine Auftritte in Actionfilmen der Genres Martial Arts und Blaxploitation Berühmtheit. Kelly spielte 1973 an der Seite von Bruce Lee in „Der Mann mit der Todeskralle“ und hatte 1974 Hauptrollen in „Black Belt Jones“ als Titelfigur und in „Three the Hard Way“ als Mister Keyes.
