Als Künstler in dritter Generation war Chuck McCann bereits mit elf Jahren ein Showbusiness-Veteran. Mit 19 Jahren trat er in Nachtclubs auf, hatte Gastauftritte im Fernsehen und war regelmäßig in der „Steve Allen Show“ zu sehen. Zu Chucks umfangreicher Karriere zählen Produktionen wie „The Chuck McCann Show“, „Let's Have Fun Show“, „Little Orphan Annie“, „The World of Hans Christian Anderson“, „Herbie Rides Again“, „Men in Tights“ und „Storyville“. Er entwickelte, schrieb und spielte außerdem die Hauptrolle in den beliebten Kindersendungen „Far Out Space Nuts“ und „Chuck McCann's Funstuff“. Heute spricht Chuck verschiedene Zeichentrickfiguren, darunter Duckworth und die Panzerknacker in „Ducktails – Die Serie“ und „Ducktails: Der Film“, Leatherneck in „G.I. Joe“, das Ding in „Fantastic Four“ und Blizzard in „Iron Man“.
