Robert Holmes „R. H.“ Thomson, CM (* 24. September 1947), ist ein kanadischer Fernseh-, Film- und Bühnenschauspieler. Thomson wurde in Richmond Hill, Ontario, geboren. Er studierte an der University of Toronto sowie an der National Theatre School. Sein eigenes Theaterstück *The Lost Boys* wurde im März 2000 von der Great Canadian Theatre Company und im Februar 2002 von Canadian Stage inszeniert. Zudem moderierte Thomson Sendungen für CBC Radio und CBC Television. Im Jahr 2010 wurde er zum Mitglied des Order of Canada ernannt. Er ist bekannt für Chloe (2009), Ein Stern in meiner dunklen Nacht (1982) und Das süße Wort Verheißung (1981). Er ist seit 1980 mit Laurie Matheson verheiratet. Sie haben zwei Kinder.
