Preludes (1996)
A short film inspired by four short preludes by Frédéric Chopin and the 19th-century paintings of Polish artists Leon Wyczółkowski, Ferdynand Ruszczyc, Jan Stanisławski, and Władysław Podkowiński. The central motif is the image of the Polish countryside, whose beauty inspired Frédéric Chopin's work. Colorful patches, animated by painterly animation, arise, transform, and transform before the viewer's eyes into paintings by Polish artists, to the rhythm of the music.
