La Matriarca (2023)
During the 1000-day war in Colombia in 1900, a married man (Salvador) is attracted to a beautiful and mysterious indigenous woman (Dionisia) who is hiding on his farm, pursued by conservative troops offering a hefty reward for her head. Meanwhile, Salvador's wife Hortensia must decide between saving the indigenous woman or handing her over to collect the reward, as she is also hiding her lover.
