The Great Battle (1957)
About the heroic battle of Stalingrad during the Great Patriotic War. The prologue gives a general picture of the current situation on the fronts by the summer of 1942 - the battles at the Barents Sea, near Leningrad, in Belarus, Ukraine, and Sevastopol. Stalingrad is shown at all stages of the heroic battle. Historical documents from 1942-43 tell about the mass heroism of our soldiers, about the help of the whole country to Stalingrad during the great battle.
