A Japanese pop icon returns to her late mother’s birthplace in a mountain village, joined by a former classmate and her boyfriend. Their trek into the forest turns dark after disturbing ancestral spirits. Trapped in thick fog, fear manifests into inner demons as supernatural events unfold, blurring the line between self-discovery and a descent into madness.
