Daffodils in December (2024)
When Evelyn and Marie's relationship of 40 years is about to blossom into old days of retirement: long walks, book club, sleeping in. Their next chapter is derailed by Marie's recent Alzheimer's diagnosis. Each person views the new medication Marie must take differently: Marie, more tired than ever and Evelyn holding on. This forces them to grapple with becoming a new "We" in a way that respects each person's understanding of the situation moving forward.
