Malanka (2024)
The film is full of mysticism and Ukrainian customs. Traditional celebrations - driving the Goat, giving gifts and divination on New Year's Eve - have always caused us special admiration. Our traditions are beautiful and creepy, imbued with existential experiences... all this is embodied in this film. Starting with the name of the main character, ending with the resolution and the main antagonist of the story. The film envelops you in this traditionally festive atmosphere and throws you into a stupor from the end.
