One minute you're biting your nails at world events, and the next you're laughing in impotence. Michael Schøt has spent most of his stand-up career in the space between these two emotions. His ability to capture the zeitgeist here and now, but playfully observe it from the outside, has thrilled not only audiences, but also critics - who over the years have attached words like “one of the best stand-up comedians in Denmark”, “a comic elemental force”, ‘virtuoso’ and “the absolute sharpest and fastest satirist in the media” to him.
