Broken Hallelujah (2025)
As an adult, Ana is haunted by the shadows of her past, bravely sharing one of her most painful memories in a support group. Years earlier, Ana and her mother, Hawa, lived a life of relentless hardship inside a brothel. As a child, Ana loved her mother unconditionally, unaware of the cruel world around them. But as she grew older, the harsh truths of her environment began to surface, leaving her with painful questions and a fractured sense of trust. During a quiet visit to a church, Ana and Hawa met a mysterious figure who offered a glimmer of hope. For Hawa, it was a chance for peace and escape from suffering. For Ana, it stirred a storm of emotions, forcing her to confront her beliefs about faith, forgiveness, and the meaning of salvation. Now, as Ana navigates the delicate balance between past wounds and present struggles, she embarks on a soul-searching journey toward healing, redemption, and the courage to reclaim her life from the darkness that shaped it.
