Kampai! Miai Kekkon (1958)
Emiko, a shy girl, feels anxious as her classmates celebrate their upcoming weddings, realizing she’s the only one still single. She finds herself drawn to her quiet classmate Sasada, who rarely expresses his feelings. Through a series of events that reveal the characters’ struggles with love and loneliness, Emiko travels to Osaka in search of him. In the end, she discovers his true feelings, and the two share a silent, comforting moment during a poetic wedding scene.
