Mahabhoj is a social drama set in the backdrop of Nepal’s political system. It tells the story of everyday people who stand up against those who exploit them for selfish interests. The film highlights themes like rebellion, justice, and the struggle against political corruption and social inequality. At its core, the story follows a bank loan manager in urgent need of money. When he turns to his father for help, he learns that his father’s lifelong savings have been stolen by a corrupt cooperative and a group of greedy individuals. This discovery sets off a powerful journey of resistance and truth.
