Amare (2025)
Amare, an afro-descendant woman, is forced to emigrate to the United States to support her family, but especially her younger sister, Cielo. Fourteen years later, she returns to her hometown for her father's wake. Faced with the weight of time and silence, Amare tries to reconcile with her sister, her mother, and the roots she left behind.
