Amaanaaiy (1998)
Zahid and Shafeeqa were in the midst of their second decade of a spotless marriage. Their lovely daughters Nilfa (10) and Neena (7) complete an ideal family. One day Zahid got a surprise visit by a long-forgotten friend called Bakurube. He dropped a bombshell to Zahid's near perfect life. An orphaned young boy Anil, is a child born out wedlock, fathered by Zahid who had no inkling about it. A family envied by all is suddenly threatened by a blunder from the past. Bakurube is now a very frail old man who is subsequently became the sole guardian of the boy. He asked Zahid to take the boy in to his family fold. More than a decade ago Ashiya was a young naive girl from Addu who moved to Malé to pursue a career in teaching. Slowly she got entangled in a web of lies and deception.
