Fashionable India (1935)
An idealistic Kusum writes a play celebrating modernization, produced by her lover Ramesh, drawing the ire of the villainous Madhav. A local Raja also seeks Kusum's hand, offering to settle her father's debts. This complex situation escalates into kidnappings and murders before a happy ending. Known for its musical numbers, this big-budget drama ultimately led to the demise of Krishna Film Studio.
