Trapo viejo (2003)
Nicolás, a retired widower, lives with his daughter, son-in-law, and grandson in a small rented home, supporting them with his meager pension. During the 2001 crisis in Argentina, Nicolás pursued his dream of building a house on a remote piece of land, just as he and his wife had dreamed. At a local cultural center, Nicolás began a free painting class despite the total opposition of his family, who considered him a hindrance to their lives.
