This film about the search for happiness documents the way of life of the Malagasy people in this village. What has changed here in the last 250 years since the Slovak native Móric Beñovský was active here? Are technological advances, a fast-paced lifestyle, and material security what make a person happy? Can happiness be found in a place where there seems to be nothing and people live their lives from day to day? What is the difference between the lives of European and Malagasy children?
