As I started making collages in a digital form, it felt like the next step was to add time, movement, and music, and the collages started to dance,” wrote Miwa Matreyek. “I also consider my performances to be collage, as my shadow silhouette becomes integrated into the layers of animations, creating a new whole with new meanings that does not exist until the elements are presented together.”
