Another Side of the Sun (2025)
In the shadow of Thailand’s May 22, 2014 coup d’état, 68-year-old Aree receives a call that her granddaughter, Duangjai, has been left alone at the swimming pool, she rushes to pick her up. But as the day unfolds, it becomes clear that Kumphoon, Duangjai’s father—Aree’s son-in-law, a man whose political beliefs starkly oppose her own—may be missing due to a military coup.
