POR CIELO Y TIERRA (2024)
POR CIELO Y TIERRA tells the stories of Omaira, a former combatant who has been searching for her father since 2017; Daniela, an indigenous woman who searched for her father's remains for 20 years; Gladys, a mother still searching for her son, who disappeared at the hands of paramilitaries in 2002; and Herminia, another mother who finally received and gave her son a dignified burial after years of waiting. The film also chronicles the stories of thousands of families and communities who, day by day, walk the complex and lengthy path of searching for their loved ones in Colombia, alongside the Search Unit for Disappeared Persons (UBPD).
