The feature film "Hooleta" is a painfully honest look at the mental health crisis among today's youth. Emma - a young girl caught in the eye of a domestic storm. Struggling with the fallout of a fractured family, she searches for the missing pieces of love and belonging in all the wrong places. At school pressures mount and relationships crumble, Emma's life becomes a balancing act between self-destruction and the desperate hope for a new beginning. This is an intimate, emotional journey of a girl fighting to reclaim her identity from the wreckage of her daily life.
