She Put Away Her Heart in the Fridge (2026)
Porto Alegre, southern Brazil, 2019. Luiza, 27, receives a series of videos online from a woman she does not know. The images, filmed in Uruguay, are accompanied by the voice of a woman named Verónica, who recounts stories from her youth there. What at first seems to be a mistake gradually reveals a painful truth about Luiza’s family past: the mysterious Verónica has the same face as her late mother.
