Today, the world is facing a new challenge — the militarization of outer space. All communications and most weapons are provided and controlled from space. Military and dual—use satellites are a strategically important part of the modern confrontation, without which victory is unthinkable either on the battlefield or in the political arena. Currently, new players are increasingly claiming a military presence in space.
