Nuremberg, 1514: Agnes Dürer keeps her famous husband’s art business running with an iron fist, but when a young apprentice barges into the house, a former lover of her husband causes a scandal, and Albrecht falls into a creative crisis following his mother’s death, Agnes’s control begins to falter. To save her prestige, her money, and her marriage, she must take action.
