Irogotoshi harudanji (1965)
Set in Osaka’s lively entertainment district, the film follows a rakugo performer whose unconventional style makes him a rising star. Despite his growing fame, his heavy drinking and constant affairs create turmoil in both his career and personal life. As the people around him struggle with the consequences of his reckless behavior, he is forced to confront the cost of the life he has chosen.
