When the war breaks out in Ukraine, Sasha — a father and civilian — is forced to redefine his role overnight. What begins as a mission to protect his family quickly turns into a commitment he cannot abandon. As he moves between home and the frontline, between care and combat, Sasha is caught in a growing tension between responsibility and survival. Heading Home is an intimate portrait of a man navigating impossible choices, where the idea of “home” becomes uncertain.
