Ecstatic Apartment: Days of Restless Longing (1977)
In a certain dilapidated apartment building, there's a thug in room 6, the Yamada couple in room 4, and Kenichi, a cram school student, in room 5. This is the worst possible environment for Kenichi, who is diligently studying to get into the University of Tokyo. This is because he can always hear moans coming from his neighbors through the thin walls, and the older landlady flirts with him. When he goes out into town, he falls in love at first sight with any woman he passes... Even when he tries to concentrate on studying, he is constantly tormented by distractions, which is typical for a young person at this age..
