Joshi ana hikyoku zeme (2004)
Maiko is a rookie announcer at a TV station, assigned to a quirky late-night show with low ratings that involves visiting various eccentrics. Takako, a senior announcer Maiko admires, learns of an affair between her colleague Mami and the producer, Wakabayashi—as well as plans to promote Mami to anchorwoman. Desperate to stop this, Takako pressures Mami to hand over the anchor role, threatening to leak the story of the affair to a weekly tabloid. During an argument on the rooftop, Mami accidentally falls to her death.
