Desire that Rules the World (1998)
There is no objectivity beyond desire. That is the main clause of the ancient poet Ovid ("Metamorphoses"). The creator of the twentieth-century novel, Marcel Proust, states the same thing: All public occurrences dissolve into love stories upon closer examination.
