Anna and Totó (1972)
Early 1970s. Anna, a 35-year-old medical assistant, falls in love with Totó, a Sicilian she meets while on holiday. When he joins her to start a new life together, their happiness is overshadowed by the prejudice of the time. Afraid of society's judgment, Anna hides their relationship, gradually forcing Totó into isolation.
