ABC Man: The Manager in Mid Career (1967)
An ABC man is a mid-career manager who has become obsolete due to technological change yet who refuses to grow and instead hides behind slogans and hostility. Dr. Frederick Herzberg suggests that firms can keep their managers effective and competent by designing into their careers continuous challenge and opportunities for learning. Part of the Gellerman motivation and productivity series.
