Mariam Alisa (2016)
# Translation The story tells of a beautiful village girl. She lives with her elderly and disabled father. The girl's name is Mariam Alisa (Elvina). Mariam's father feels uncomfortable being cared for and nursed by his beloved daughter. He suggests that Mariam marry Ustaz Haiqal, considering that Ustaz Haiqal (Amirul Faqeem) frequently visits them and often helps Mariam. Although Ustaz Haiqal is a good man, Mariam's heart is not open to him or any other man. This is because she has been hurt and played with by a wealthy man. To support the life of her and her father, Mariam sells nasi lemak at a stall in their village. That is the routine of Mariam's life every day. As it happens, one day a man named Farhan (Ben Amir) stops by the stall to buy nasi lemak. Mariam's beauty captivates the man instantly so much so that he doesn't hear Mariam's question. Mariam assumes the man is deaf. In fact, from the way the man dresses, Mariam assumes that he is not a wealthy person.
